Details of HTC’s next tablet have surfaced, indicating that again that HTC will be working close with NVIDIA in 2012. The HTC Quattro is expected to make its debut at Mobile World Congress in February of 2012, featuring the NVIDIA AP30 Tegra 3 processor, a 10.1-inch 1280 x 768 display, 1GB of RAM, 2MP rear-facing camera (capable of full HD video capture) and a 1.3MP front-facing camera (capable of 720p video capture). The Android tablet will also sport, 5GHz Wi-Fi , Bluetooth 4.0, 16 GB of internal memory and an expandable microSD card slot.
As you might expect, the HTC Quattro will be the first HTC tablet to feature Beats Audio, but it will also be equipped with a pair of speakers for stereo output and two microphones to enhance the audio used during video recording or video chat.
Details are a little scarce about which version of Android will be powering the HTC Quattro, but we assume HTC will try its best to have Android 4.0 with the latest version of HTC Sense up and running on the tablet in time for its debut in a few months. Similar to its predecessors, the HTC Quattro is expected to feature support for HTC Scribe for digital pen input and interaction.
Most of the specs rumored for the HTC Quattro aren’t that exciting, but we’re still eager to see how the tablets quad-core Tegra 3 chip will stack up against the HTC Jetstream. Historically, HTC’s tablets have been overpriced, but we’re hoping that the recent price drop of the HTC Flyer indicates that HTC will introduce the Quattro at a much more reasonable price. How much would you be willing to pay for the HTC Quattro of a similarly equipped Android tablet?

I would like the HTC Quattro to be priced at about S$723(US$580) and it to be about 9mm slim and about 605g unlike the HTC Jetstream which was so heavy.
