AT&T and HTC have finally pulled back the veil, revealing the HTC Holiday in all its glory. The Holiday will launch as the HTC Vivid on November 6 at a price of $199 with a two-year contract. The HTC Vivid will be the very first LTE phone from HTC compatible with AT&T’s new 4G network which is currently only available in a half dozen different markets.
If you’ve been keeping tabs on the HTC Holiday, you will be happy to learn that all the rumored specifications of the phone have turned out to be true. The HTC Vivid features a 4.5-inch qHD Super LCD display, a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm APQ 8060 Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and a 1620 mAh battery which should pack enough juice to barely get you through a full day of use.
The HTC Vivid may not be as sexy or feature the same specs as the upcoming HTC Rezound, but at least AT&T isn’t going to be overcharging for their first 4G LTE phone. We only have a week to go before the HTC Vivid’s November 6 launch date, so we hope you have your cash saved up. Are any of you planning on purchasing the HTC Vivid?
