Verizon’s next HTC phone may be a lot closer than we expected. A leaked Verizon roadmap shows a phone labeled as the HTC Rhyme ADR6330VW will be released on September 29 for $199.99 (we’re assuming that’s with a two-year contract. While many of you may be hoping that the HTC Rhyme is the official name of the HTC Vigor, we happen to believe that this is actually the HTC Bliss that’s been floating around lately. The $199 price tag may be a bit steep for a mid-range Android phone that’s targeted directly at women, but Verizon’s never been shy about pricing their phones a bit too high.
Now that we have a release date and price for the HTC Rhyme, we’re hoping to see more details around the HTC Vigor show up soon. The HTC Rhyme will be a unique handset, but it’ll certainly be overlooked once the HTC Vigor is on the market.
