Yesterday afternoon, U.S. Cellular announced that they will start selling the HTC Hero S, HTC Wildfire S, and HTC Flyer starting next month. All three HTC devices are running on Android 2.3 with various versions of HTC Sense, offering consumers a unified experience no matter how much money you’re willing to pay.
The HTC Hero S will feature a 4-inch qHD Super LCD display, 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 Processor, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 1520mAh battery. The HTC Hero S will sell for $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a two year contract.
For those on a tighter budget, the HTC Wildfire S may be a more suitable option. The Wildfire S comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA display, 600MHz Qualcomm® MSM8227 processor, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-FI, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, and a 1230mAh battery. U.S. Cellular’s HTC Flyer will feature a 7-inch display, 32 GB of internal storage, 1.5 GHz processor, and HTC Scribe technology. Just like the Wi-Fi version of the Flyer, anyone interested in buying the HTC tablet will have to shell out some additional cash in order to get the HTC Scribe digital pen.
