Anyone looking for a music-centric HTC device with a pair of Beats Audio headphones, keep an eye out for the HTC Bass. While the name may be new, we’ve known about the phone itself for a while now. Previously known as the HTC Runnymede, the HTC Bass will feature a 4.7-inch display, a 1.5 GHz processor, 8 MP camera, and a 1600 mAh battery all running on Android 2.3.4. While we’re still not sure if the HTC Bass will launch in the U.S. market, we’re hearing that the handset will be available in Europe starting in early October.
The HTC Bass isn’t going to compete with phones like the HTC Vigor or HTC Ruby, but its single-core 1.5 GHz processor and massive 4.7-inch display will certainly make a lot of people happy if it debuts at a reasonable price.
