Best Buy has just announced that they will begin selling the White HTC DROID Incredible 2 this coming Sunday, August 21st. The cost of the White HTC DROID Incredible 2 is set at $149.99 with a new two-year contract, but we’re not exactly sure what the damage will be if you want to pick the phone up on its own. The White HTC DROID Incredible will be a times exclusive for Best Buy (similar to the HTC EVO 4G last summer) and will probably show up in Verizon stores within a month or two. The phone features the same specs as the original HTC DROID Incredible 2 (1GHz second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8 MP camera, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, 4-inch WVGA SLCD display).
While it’s nice to see Verizon, Best Buy and HTC teaming up to push out the White HTC DROID Incredible 2, we’re not sure how many people will be interested in picking one up. HTC and Verizon are already on their next flagship device (HTC Vigor) which should be ready to launch by mid October.
