T-Mobile has finally announced that the myTouch 4G Slide (aka DoublShot) will launch on July 27th. The price for the myTouch 4G Slide is set at $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate if you purchase the handset with a two year contract and qualifying data plan. Those of you who already have you’re your mind set on getting the myTouch 4G Slide will be able to pre-order the phone on July 19th.
As you may already know, the myTouch 4G Slide spec list includes Qualcomm’s 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, a 3.7-inch WVGA display, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, and a four row QWERTY keyboard. For more details on what the myTouch 4G Slide has to offer, be sure to check out the official press release.
The 4G Slide may not be as cutting edge as the HTC Sensation 4G, but we’re sure a few of you would be willing to sacrifice a higher resolution display for better performance and a camera with quite a few new tricks up its sleeve.
