T-Mobile has finally announced that the HTC Sensation 4G will be available at T-Mobile stores across the country on June 15th. The price of the HTC Sensation has been set at $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a two year contract (I guess that June 8th launch date didn’t really pan out). If you were hoping to get your hands on the HTC Sensation 4G a little earlier, you may want to head to Wal-Mart. Select Wal-Mart location will have the HTC Sensation available on June 12th. We don’t have any details regarding the Wal-Mart pricing of the phone, but we have a suspicion that it may be a little less than what you would pay at a T-Mobile store.
The HTC Sensation 4G is the first phone to utilize Qualcomm’s 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and is also the first handset from HTC to feature a 4.3-inch qHD display. With HTC Sense 3.0, an 8 megapixel camera with Instant Capture and the ability to record video in 1080p, there’s no doubt that the HTC Sensation 4G will be the most popular Android phone on T-Mobile’s network this summer.
How many of you are planning on picking up the HTC Sensation 4G now that we finally know the price point and launch date? I’m certainly ready to trade in my G2 in order to feel to power behind Qualcomm’s first dual-core processor.
