It may not be an official confirmation that the HTC will be unlocking the HTC Sensation’s bootloader, but an HTC rep admitted to an HTC Sensation owner that a fix for the Sensation’s locked bootloader is currently being worked on. Since the whole “locked bootloader” fiasco and HTC policy change was mainly centered around the HTC Sensation, the assumption has been that HTC would unlock the phone’s bootloader. We still have no indication on timing or what the bootloader unlocking process will entail, but we’re hoping that those details will be shared soon in an official HTC acknowledgement that the HTC Sensation will receive an unlocked bootloader.
