It’s been a long time coming, but we finally have an official launch date for the HTC Flyer, Best Buy has finally announced that the Wi-Fi HTC Flyer will be available online and in stores on May 22. The price of the HTC Flyer is set at $499.99 but if you want to take full advantage of the tablet’s HTC Scribe technology you will need to hand over an additional $80 for the digital pen since it is not included in the tablet’s price.
We’re hoping to get our hands on the HTC Flyer later today (our demo unit is currently on the FedEx truck on its way to our office), so we’ll be sharing our thoughts on HTC’s tablet with you over the next few weeks. Let’s just hope HTC remembered to send us the pen.
