So we know that the Sensation, HTC’s new Mega 4G phone, destined for T-Mobile in the US, should be available on the Eighth of June. The hype surrounding HTC’s first Dual Core Smartphone, with a high res 4.3” screen, 4G connectivity, and well proven engineering and style, is massive, so why wouldn’t HTC keep hyping it up. HTC USA has now placed an expression of interest page on their site, and if it hasn’t crashed in the frenzy, you can sign up here! Of course the hype centers around speed, a super powerful processor, heaps of Ram, and a high speed data network, “Instant Everything”. Don’t forget it’s got a 8 Mp camera that can do 1080p video.
Seems the sensation is already featuring in the wild, and looks like bestboyz.de have got the lowdown on video performance for the Sensation. They Pitted the Sensation against the LG Optimus 2x, a very similar specked phone. Seems HTC are getting their camera tech together, considering the sharper snappier playback and crisp colours.
The video compares an NVIDIA based device to a Qualcomm based device, the real disparity is that the LG is running Froyo, and the HTC is Gingerbread. Either way it’s a good comparison, but I think I know which phone I’d pick
