When a few of you spotted the HTC EVO 3D on HTC’s international site with GSM radio bands, we and HTC wrote it off as a simple mistake. Fortunately for our friends over in Europe, it looks like that simple mistake is actually going to materialize. A new tweet from HTC France claims that there will be an HTC EVO 3D for everyone. The name will stick, which isn’t a total surprise. The HTC Incredible S borrowed the name from Verizon’s DROID Incredible which launched last year, so why wouldn’t HTC want to capitalize on the EVO name?
The launch date for the GSM HTC EVO 3D is still up in the air, but we suspect that it may hit store shelves in Europe right around the same time Sprint launches the device. Early summer may seem a bit far off, but the HTC EVO 3D would certainly be worth the wait.
