We’re pretty sure most of you did get the chance to attend this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, so we thought we’d share HTC unveiling of the HTC Flyer. We know that videos product unveilings are not the most exciting things to watch, but this clip does give us a closer look at the vision behind the HTC Flyer and why HTC chose to go with a 7-inch device rather than a 10-inch tablet to directly compete with the iPad, Motorola XOOM, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The HTC Flyer may not be running on a dual-core NVIDIA processor or Android 3.0 quite yet, but we’re pretty confident that the Flyer’s size and unique HTC Scribe pen integration give customers a compelling option in the tablet space.
With the HTC Flyer price set and an expected Q1 launch date, all we really need to know is which service providers will be making the HTC tablet available to the masses. Would any of you actually consider purchasing an HTC Tablet? How much would you be willing to pay?
