The HTC Thunderbolt has finally received FCC approval. The timing of the FCC certification seems a bit odd to us since we typically post these news stories 2-3 weeks before a handset is expected to launch. Some are speculating that this late FCC approval may have something to do with the delayed launch of the HTC Thunderbolt. It’s certainly plausible, since the initial launch date for the HTC Thunderbolt was scheduled for February 14th. Now that they have everything squared away, let’s hope Verizon and HTC will get around to announcing their launch plans for the HTC Thunderbolt and make it available to customers without too much of a delay.
