We typically don’t post more than a few HTC news stories a day, but it looks like HTC having a great day in the blogosphere. Contrary to what you might have heard, it turns out that the HTC Thunderbolt will indeed be launching with data Hotspot capabilities. A revised training document has surfaced which indicates that previous training materials were wrong. This same document also points out that the HTC Thunderbolt will be able to support voice and data connections simultaneously. This may not sound that exciting since GSM handsets have been able to do this for years, but the HTC Thunderbolt will be the very first handset on Verizson’s network to use a EV-DO/SVDO connection.
