Verizon customers looking to for an HTC phone with a QWERTY might want to start saving up for the HTC Lexicon. We first heard about the phone back in August and now it seems we have come across the first image of the handset. The QWERTY equipped HTC Lexikon might sound like something new, but with a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7630 processor (the CDMA version of the MSM 7×30), 4GB of internal storage, 5MP camera, Android 2.2, and a WVGA display, we’re pretty convinced that this is simply a CMDA variant of the soon to be released T-Mobile G2 or the HTC Desire Z. The only real hardware difference is a 3.8 inch display on the Lexikon.
If you’re a little adventurous, you can take a little peak at the Lexikon’s leaked ROM. Since it’s in exe format, there’s not much we know at this point. We’re pretty sure a dev or two will be able to extract some details from the ROM in the next day or two, hopefully giving us a few more clue as to what we can expect from Verizon’s HTC Lexikon.
