Verison DROID Incredible specs are now official

The Verizon DROID Incredible is slated to launch on April 29th.  Initial speculation pegged the Incredible to be a close cousin of even a twin to the HTC Desire or Nexus One.  We knew that it features the same Snapdragon processor and 3.7 inch screen, but the rest of the specs were left up to our imagination.  This morning, Verizon has chosen to unveil the official specs of the DROID Incredible (by HTC) on their website.  Most of our assumptions have been confirmed, though the Incredible does have a few extra features not found in the N1 or Desire.  The 5MP image sensor has been swapped out with an 8MP sensor and Verizon has asked HTC to load up the Incredible with 8GB of internal storage.  DROID incredible owners will be treated to Android 2.1 with the latest release of HTC Sense and the full “with Google” Android experience we have come to know and love.

If you haven’t started saving up your pennies yet, I’d suggest you get started.  The Verizon DROID Incredible will most likely sell for $199 with a new two year agreement.  All you have to do is save $14.29 per day for the next 14 days and you’ll be all set.   How many of you are actually going to buy the DROID Incredible?  I know most of you are test on the HTC EVO 4G which will hit Sprint later this summer.  Let us know what you’re planning on getting and why.
