The long-awaited T-Mobile HTC HD2 is finally up for sale. T-Mobile’s version of the HTC HD2 has a little more internal memory and a different 3G chipset than its European counterpart, but all other hardware specifications remain the same. The T-Mobile HTC HD2 features a 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen, 1230 mAh battery, 1Ghz Processor, Wi-Fi, GPS, and stereo Bluetooth. The HTC HD2 measures in at 2.6 x 4.8 x 0.4 inches and only weighs 5.5 oz. To put that into perspective, the T-mobile HTC Touch Pro2 measures 2.4 x 4.6 x 0.7 inches and weighs 6.6 oz. The huge 4.3 inch screen does make the HD2 quite big, but we definitely have to say that’s it’s manageable and it will fit into your pocket if you’re not wearing any of super tight jeans that seem to be all the craze over in Europe. T-mobile is claiming that the HTC HD2 will give you up to 6 hours of talk time and a whopping 20 days of standby. The T-Mobile HTC HD2 features Windows Mobile 6.5 with HTC’s new Sense UI. T-Mobile has chosen to also partner with Blockbuster to give users movies on-demand (this is a paid service) and mobiTV for all your mobile Television needs. Since T-Mobile is positioning the HTC HD2 as a multimedia and entertainment handset, they thought it would be nice to include a 16GB microSD card with the phone with Transformers 1 & 2 pre-loaded.
If you’re willing to sign up for another two year contract agreement, the T-Mobile HTC HD2 can be yours for only $199.99. Those who are sticking to their guns and simply want the phone will have to pay $449.99, which is actually an incredible deal for the HTC HD2. Unlocked versions of the HD2 are selling for over $600 over in Europe at the moment.
Anyone still willing to drop cash on a Windows Mobile phone? Personally, I’m sold out for Android these days, but that’s not gonna stop me from taking a quick trip over to my local T-Mobile store and swiping my greasy fingers all over that 4.3 inch screen.

Saw it at the TMO store this past weekend – the 4.3″ screen blew my mind and Winmo 6.5 didn’t look half bad but, of course, we’re all Android to the bone. A nice preview of what EVO 4G will be like.
I bought HTC DH-2 mobile two month ago from Garir book store in Doha. I have two main problems: while someone calling me or when I make a call using my HTC DH2 the line cut off at the middle of phone conversation, and somtimes at the begining of the conservation and some pictures appears. The second problem is the HTC DH2 battery, it will not last for longer maximum 6 hours even if I am not using the phone and even if I switch off the bluetoth and Wi.
Please advice me what can I do to fix these problems.
Thank you
