Another day, another video. Google is continuing their short series on the Nexus One with a second video which highlights the phone’s display and 3D framework. In the video, Google highlights the 3.7 inch AMOLED display as one of the most essential components in the Nexus One. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor is also given credit for enabling Android’s new 3D frameworks which is used extensively throughout the UI (app launcher, gallery, Google Earth, and animated wallpapers). It’s nice to see Google really pushing the Nexus One from all fronts, but I think they are being a little misleading in the video since my 15 month old T-Mobile G1 seems to handle Android 2.1 and it’s 3D framework just fine.
