If you’re in the market for an Android handset, you might want to consider the myTouch 3G from T-Mobile. Our friend at TmoNews are reporting that our T-Mobile is planning on slashing the price of the current myTouch 3G to only $99 with a new contract agreement. $99 for a myTouch 3G may not be the best all around deal since Verizon has the DROID Eris for the same price, but if you’re already a T-Mobile customer, it just makes sense to stick with your current carrier. The price drop is expected to go into play on February 10. Just remember, T-Mobile and HTC are planning on introducing the myTouch 3G 1.2 in the coming weeks. The updated version of the phone features a new Swype keyboard, increased internal memory, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Just thought we’d give you all the information so you can make the right purchase.
