This morning, TmoNews has gotten word from their sources that T-Mobile will officially support the HTC Nexus One. T-Mobile’s internal system indicated that the carrier will be launching a new Android device in early January. HTC and Google will be handling troubleshooting and exchanges for the device while T-Mobile will be offering support for billing and rate plans. TmoNews later updated their post with new information:
Our sources are confirming a January 5th date, 9am, ordering through Google ONLY. Sadly, still no word on pricing.
At this point I’m sure that everyone can agree that the Nexus One will be launching in one week from today. Sadly, Google and HTC has stayed pretty quiet on the whole matter. I’d expect Google or HTC to speak up before the end of the week to reveal their launch plans for the Nexus One.
