The HTC made Nexus One Google Phone will go on sale through Google website starting January 5th. Sources have informed ABC news that Google will partner with T-Mobile and offer the Nexus One at a subsidized rate for those who sign up for a new two year agreement. The subsidized price of the Nexus One will be $199.99 but we still do not know how much Google will be selling the Google Phone for to those who do not want to sign up for a new T-Mobile account. Speculation indicates that T-Mobile will use the new Android powered Nexus One to promote the launch of their HSPA 7.2 network which will go live before the end of the year. I’ve added the January 5th launch date to the Android Events Calendar, so make sure you add it to your Google calendar!
