Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you a splash screen! Last time we saw something like this was over a month ago when HTC relaunched their U.S. website. I’m sure we all want a NEW handset to pop up on the site and blow our minds, but let’s not get carried away. The main image on the splash screen is named “HomeBanner_HTC_HD2_Video”. I’m not the brightest person on the planet, but i think this might have something to do with the HTC HD2 coming to the U.S. market. HTC has already confirmed that they have plans on launching the HD2 in the U.S. in early Q1 of 2010.
Even though all evidence is pointing towards the HD2, I’m sure a lot of people would love to see some information pop up about the HTC Dragon which is expected to launch before the end of the year on Verizon as the HTC Passion. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. Who knows, we may see two new handsets listed on HTC’s site when the splash screen comes down.
