You know it’s going to be a good day when you wake up to see a note from HTC in your inbox. We’ve suspected for a while that HTC would be bringing the HTC HD2 over to the states, but now HTC and Microsoft have officially make the announcement.
We wanted to give you a heads up that HTC and Microsoft have just confirmed that the much anticipated HTC HD2 will be coming to the U.S. early next year.
If you didn’t already know, the HTC HD2 is running on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and features a 4.3" capacitive touch screen, HTC Sense, 5MP camera (with flash), 3.5mm headphone jack, all on top of Windows Mobile 6.5. From what we’ve seen, T-Mobile could be the first carrier to land the HD2 here in the United States, but we’ll have to wait and see how things pan out. I’m really hoping that the HD2 will get just as much love as the Pro2 did, making it on to all four major U.S. carriers.
Full press release after the jump.
