Like most other HTC phones, the HTC Tattoo (aka the Click) is expected to be a free add-on to most any new two year contract from European carriers. But until today, no one really knew what you’d be charged if you simply wanted to guy the Tattoo on its own without the hassle of dealing with your service prodived. Today, Expansys.com unveiled their price of the HTC Tattoo: $469.99. The price point might appear to be a bit high considering that the Tattoo will be shipping with a 2.8" resistive QVGA screen, but keep in mind that the HTC Hero sells for a full $100 (17%) more on Expansys website. If we keep those same ratios and apply them to the new Sprint Hero’s price tag of $179, a hypothetical sprint HTC Tattoo would sell for $149 with a new contract. Definitely a better deal than the $199 you need to part with to pick up the T-Mobile myTouch 3G.
Don’t forget to check out the latest video of the Tattoo’s Sense UI and if you really want that myTouch 3G, the Oprah $100 discount is still good through September 24th.
