HTC Tatoo replaces the Click name and loses Wi-Fi

HTC Tatoo
There’s a new development on the Android front today. According to FrAndroid (France Android?), the HTC Click will be taking on the name of Tatoo (just recently trademarked by HTC) for the handset’s French launch. The site indicates that the HTC Tatoo will a light version of the HTC Magic with no Wi-Fi, a 3MP camera, and a smaller screen (expected to be only 2.8"). Price for the HTC Tatoo is expected to be less than the HTC Magic even though many of HTC’s handsets are already FREE with contract agreements on most European carriers. The image above points out that "provisional availability" for the HTC Tatoo is slated for September and that there will be TV support, but I’m thinking that’s going to be a carrier service similar to Sprint’s TV service. If the HTC Tatoo does launch in September, it would be HTC’s fourth Android phone to hit the European market this year.

If you speak French, feel free to check out the FrAndroid site. For the rest of us, lets be thankful that the Google gods made Google Translate
