T-Mobile Touch Pro2 spotted in the wild, priced at $299?

The past few weeks have been a little agonizing if you’ve been keeping up with news of the new HTC Touch Pro2 that will be landing in T-Mobile stores on August 12. On August 1st, TmoNews ran a store which indicated that the new handset would be available for $299, but then the priced jumped up to $349 earlier this week. Today, Engadget is showing off a few shots of the Touch Pro2 in the wild and they are stating that the Touch Pro2 is now back down to $299.

At this point, it’s impossible to know who has the correct pricing information. Unfortunately, I don’t think there are very many people who are willing to shell out anything over $300 for a Smartphone these days. We only have five more days until the T-Mobile branded Touch Pro2 hits store shelves, so let’s hope everything gets cleared up before then.
