Last night, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer took the stage for their live press conference at CES. Steve was on stage for what seemed to be an eternity and really did not say much. Microsoft highlighted some of the features Windows 7 will be sporting and showed off some cool new stuff fort hr XBOX 360, but nothing really new for the Windows Mobile front. For months now there has been speculation that Microsoft would be merging their Zune software and interface into the Windows Mobile platform. But there was no word on that or even any word on the standalone Zune. Most companies typically save all of their cell phone news for the GSMA World Congress in February. Let’s hope Microsoft is planning on showing something off then that will really wow us.
