I guess Alltel didn’t want to be left out. They now join the ranks with At&t and Sprint in offering the HTC Touch PRO on their network. Alltel’s version of the Touch PRO has a few more smooth edges and refembles Sprint’s CDMA version a little more than the original GSM model. It also offers EV-DO Rev A support for Alltel’s high-speed network, full 4 row QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6.1, HTC’s TouchFLO 3D user interface, and a 3.2MP camera. The Alltel Touch PRO went on sale yesterday for $279.99 after a 2-year contract and mail-in rebate.
