The HTC Touch HD one of the most exciting phones that HTC has ever made, but right now it’s taking the back seat as the HTC G1 seems to be taking all the media glory these days. Unfortunately this post isn’t to report any good news. It seems HTC has chosen not to include the U.S. in their release plans for the Touch HD. This news was not released through their typical media release, but rather through Twitter. It seems they wanted to get the information out without any of the big boys finding out. After quite a few angry comments about their decision, HTC release a second Twitter that apologized for not including the U.S. market in their release plans for the Touch HD and that now they realize there’s a "grassroots" fallowing for high end HTC phones in the U.S.
It’s a bit surprising to us to find out that they were unaware that the U.S. market wants more HTC phones. Hopefully their next big launch will include us as well.
