Quite a few months have passed since we have heard any news about the T-Mobile Shadow II. Initial speculation was that the Shadow II would launch in early Q4 of this year and now it seems we have confirmation that the previous time frame will hold up. We have gotten confirmation that the Shadow II will be launching on T-Mobile’s network on October 15 for $149 (after rebate and a new two year agreement). The main highlights of the handset include Windows Mobile 6.1, T-Mobile’s HotSpot @Home service, WiFi, and T-Mobile’s own Shadow user interface. There are a few rumors going around that the Shadow II will support T-Mobile’s newly launched 3G network, but at this time there are no hard facts to back that claim up. We’ll simply have to wait to see what happens when the Shadow II launches in less than two weeks.
