The wait is finally over. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the T-mobile G1 with Google. If you have not heard by now, T-Mobile has just officially launched the HTC made G1 and it is currently available for all to buy. T-Mobile customers were able to pre-order the G1 last month, but deliveries only started trickling in on Monday. Now anyone can stroll right in to a T-Mobile store (only in a T-Mobile 3G market) and pick up one of these bad boys for $179 with a new two year agreement. But you better hurry. I stopped by a few stores this morning to see how things were going for our good friends in magenta and it seems as though business was booming. Unfortunately we don’t know how many Android powered phones each of the stores will carry.
So…. did you take the plunge and jump carrier, stand in line all night to be the first in line. We’d love to hear your story and your first impressions on the G1. FYI, this post was written on my new black G1, the UPS man dropped it off for me last night and I’m loving it.
