The first Android powered device is minutes away from being revealed, but it seems Microsoft wanted to make the news today as well. The news isn’t good though as Cnet is reporting a possible delay to Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 7 platforms. According to the report, some of Microsoft’s partners are claiming that the WM7 OS will be launching in the later half of 2009 rather than "early 2009" that we all have been expecting since last spring. There is still no official word form the big boys at Microsoft, but until then HTC and other manufacturers will most likely continue adding their on GUI’s on top of WM 6.1 in an effort to give the OS a much better touch friendly interface.
