More news is surfacing about the HTC Opal. Apparently, the device will be launched as the HTC Viva. Windows Mobile Italy has reported the device will be marketed in Asia starting on September 15 under the dopod brand name. Pricing is said to be around €300, which is the same price as the original HTC Touch from last year. As we mentioned before, the HTC Opal will feature most of the same hardware as the HTC Touch did, but will ass quad band radio support, Windows Mobile 6.1, and TouchFLO 3D.
