We’ve known for a while that Sprint is about to release the HTC Touch Diamond on their CDMA network. Now it turns out that Best Buy will be selling the Diamond as well. Not satisfied with simply offering last years HTC Touch Dual, Best Buy has put up a pre-order page on their site for a GSM Touch Diamond. This sounds like incredible news for U.S. customers, but the only sad part about it is that this is the same HTC Touch Diamond you can import from a few dozen cell phone stores on the web. What does that mean? This version of the Diamond does not support U.S. 3G networks. Best Buy has a pre-order price of $699.99 for the Diamond and are expecting to start shipments between September 29 and October 4.
