So, I was checking my e-mail one last time before heading off to bed. I noticed that there was a new message from out good friends at HTC. I have not written to them in the past week, so I knew it had to be something good since the only time they write me is to give me a few hour sneak peak at announcement they will be making. For a monent, my heart stopped as I realized that this could be the HTC Dream product announcement, but all my hoped were shattred. It turns out, HTC will be shipping a new HTC S740 smartphone with a little of their Touch Diamond design flare. The most notable thing about the phone is that it will support a maximum download speed of 7.2 Mbps, up to 18 times faster than 3G and has a numberic key pad as well as a slide out four row QWERTY keyboard. The S740 will become available across Europe in September.
