We don't like starting rumors, but it seems as though a Canadian Reporter has a hunch that HTC and SONY have a lot more planned than simply producing the Xperia X1 together. Paolo Del Nibletto seems to believe that SONY may be interested in aquiring HTC or partnering with them just as they did with Ericsson a while back. What proof does Paolo Del Nibletto have? Simply a canceled interview with with HTC CEO Peter Chou. Doesn't sound like there's much to go on here. We'll just have to wait to see how SONY's Xperia X1 sells when it's released later this year. do you think a SONY-HTC partnetship would be viable?
