From various news reports from the lucky people that were able to get passes to the 2008 CES Show in Vegas, we've been able to put together some information about the HTC Shift. It sounds like HTC wants to change the positioning of the shift away from a UMPC, since technicaly it is a mini laptop. Other impressions going around is that the Shifts sliding and tilt mechanism is extremely sturdy and the keyboard is not that much smaller than what you would typically find on a smaller Sony Vaio.
HTC is still not giving us an exact release date on the Shift, but they say we can expect it in Q1 of 2008. Price is yet to be determined.
