HTC U11 EYEs specs, pictures, price and launch date leak

Leave is to Evan Blass to give us all the details of the upcoming HTC U11 EYEs. According to his latest leak, the HTC U11 EYEs will be unveiled on January 15 and will be selling for ¥3,290 or roughly $510 USD. For that price, you get a phone which looks surprisingly similar to the new HTC U11+, but as its price hints the specifications are definitely mid-range.

The leak claims that the phone will be equipped with a 6-inch FHD+ Super LCD3 display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, USB-C, a generous 3930 mAh battery, HTC’s Edge Sense technology and IP67 dust and water resistance.

What’s not mentioned in the leak are the details regarding the main camera on the back and the two cameras on the front. HTC’s CEO did mention that the company would be releasing a device in 2018 with a dual-camera setup, but most of us were expecting it to be a flagship device with two cameras on the back of the phone.

Also, the app icons in the images don’t match the new icon design HTC introduced with the U11+. We’re not sure why that is, but we simply wanted to mention it since we don’t think we’ll be seeing these icons once the device is officially unveiled.
