HTC U11+ in ‘Translucent Black’ makes an appearance in new leak

The HTC U11+ will be officially unveiled within the next 24 hours, but that doesn’t mean the leaks have dried up. After yesterday’s full video reveal of the phone, @evleaks is back with an official press render of device s well. As you might suspect, the color option shown is “Translucent Black” which gives us a subtle look into the phone’s interior, showing off the wireless charging coil and a few other component details. It’s not as translucent as we had hoped, but it’s definitely unique.

HTC U11+ specifications, price & release details

Just as a reminder, the main differences between the HTC U11 and the U11+ will be the larger screen, battery, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Android Oreo and an updated version of HTC Sense which will also include a new Edge Sense carousel launcher which will pull up app and system settings shortcuts when you squeeze the phone.

While the camera is expected to have the same 12MP sensor as the U11, the newer device may also have a few camera tricks up its sleeve which have yet to be revealed. Fortunately, we won’t have to wit too long until HTC finally shares all the details on the HTC U11+,
