Cricket drops price of HTC Desire 520 to $20

Looking for an amazing discount on an entry-level HTC smartphone? Cricket has cut the price of the HTC Desire 520 by 80% and is now selling the phone for a cool $20. To take advantage of the promotional pricing, you will need to port a line over to Cricket Wireless.

The HTC Desire 520 was launched in July of last year, right around the time that most other US service providers started welling the HTC Desire 626. As far as specs go, the HTC Desire 520 is equipped with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 210, 8GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, microSD expansion slot (up to 2TB), 2,000 mAh battery with an 8 megapixel camera on the back and 2 megapixel front-facing camera. It’s not fast and the camera isn’t really good, but we can definitely tell you that it’s worth $20. Think of the HTC Desire 520 as the perfect smartphone to get for your middle-school kid who’s been bugging you to get a phone for the year.
