According to the latest rumors, HTC is looking to add the mid-range HTC One E9 to its lineup starting next month. While the HTC One E8 from last year was simply a polycarbonate variant of the HTC One M8 with a different body, the HTC One E9’s specs don’t appear to align with those of the HTC One M9 at all. The source of the new rumor claims that the HTC One E9 will features a 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.5GHz octal-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 13 megapixel main camera and front-facing UltraPixel camera.
Due to the low resolution of the HTC One E9, the price of the HTC ONe E9 will likely fall between $350 and $400. Like the HTC One E9+, the One E9 will likely make its debut in China and make its way to Taiwan and India shortly after.

I don’t believe those specs are right. An E9 is likely the same size screen as the M9. I think the rest of the specs are right.
