Things are looking up for HTC. After the announcement of the HTC Desire 320 and HTC Desire 826 yesterday, HTC has released preliminary numbers for the last quarter of 2014. HTC has reported a net profit of NT$470 million for the quarter ($14.67 million USD) which is 49% higher than the NT$315.3 profit the company recorded for the same quarter the previous year – also beating analyst’s expectations by 40%.
According to HTC’s senior global communications manager “HTC’s 2015 roadmap will be our best ever—with some huge surprises that will blow you away.” This means we’ll have a lot to look forward to in 2015 and we’er hoping the quarterly financial reports will be able to back that up.
