HTC Desire Eye, One (M8 Eye) featured in India’s import database

As we inch our way closed to the unveiling of the HTC Desire Eye on Wednesday, India’s import/export database, Zauba is now listing the device and it’s 5.2-inch display. The database lists the HTC Desire Eye with a value of Rs. 21,490 ($350 US dollars) – most likely HTC’s declared value of the phone, not the final retail price. The rumored HTC One (M8 Eye) is also listed in Zauba at Rs. 27,035 ($450 US dollars).

While we know the HTC Desire Eye will be unveiled in only a few days, the launch date for the HTC One (M8 Eye) is still unknown. Rumors for both devices surfaced at roughly the same time, so we suspect HTC will be pulling back the curtains on the HTC One (M8 Eye) before the end of the month.

Is you had to choose between the “ultimate selfie phone” or the HTC One (M8) with a 13 megapixel DuoCamera, which would you buy?

  1. Absolutely the HTC One M8 Eye hahahaha
But as I already have an HTC One 8, I will wait till next year and REALLY hope M9 have 4K recording ¬¬”

  2. The HTC Desire Eye is a great smartphone. The design might be plastic, but it’s a solid, well constructed and weather-proofed handset pitched at a fair price point. It’s good in use thanks to having plenty of power on board, and has a great display too – albeit a large one.
