HTC expands by adding retail stores in Germany

HTC is looking to spread its line of retail stores to the market in Germany after opening a fleet of stores in Taiwan starting in 2011 and some store fronts in the Czech Republic.

HTC will open a type of a hybrid stores compared to the full size shops we have seen in the past. The new style will be a store-in-store model meaning you will likely find HTC taking up real estate inside department stores like the images shown below. Inside their footprint you will find the latest HTC phones, accessories, and products from Beats Audio to pair with your portable device. One of the first locations to open will be in Hamburg, Germany and the staff will be very knowledgable since they will receive hands-on training by HTC.

Take note, that our source was a little off by stating that HTC is just now following the retail store trend, but did supply us with new details about HTC’s progress in Europe.

Do you think HTC would ever bring retail stores to the US market? Would partnering with bigger retail stores be an option, like with Best Buy or even Wal-Mart?
