Out of the box, the HTC Droid DNA is one of the best Android phones on the market. But if you’re the type who loves flashing new ROMs which push your phone to the very limit, we have some great news for you! HTC has just posted the Android 4.1 source code for the Droid DNA on HTCDev.
If you’re not a developer, there’s really nothing you can do with the code, but we should start seeing a lot more activity within the development community around the Droid DNA. Developers have already gained root access and found a bootloader unlock workaround for the DNA, so don’t be surprised if we see a surge of custom ROMs show up in the next week or two.
