Leaked document suggests Verizon to launch HTC 8X on November 12th for $200
A few days ago, a Verizon document has made its way to the web, revealing that the HTC upcoming HTC 8X may go on sale on November 12th for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. Verizon’s pricing for the HTC 8X isn’t surprising, but it is significantly higher than the $99.99 pre-order price that Best Buy has on the AT&T’s HTC 8X. Verizon has always priced its devices a bit higher than its competitors, but it seems a bit odd that they’d choose to charge double.
Fortunately, leaked documents have a way of changing, which could mean that the price of Verizon’s HTC 8X could come down between now and November 12th. We expect Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T to officially unveil their pricing and launch dates for the HTC 8X after Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 event scheduled for next week.
How many of you are getting excited about Windows Phone 8 and HTC new handset lineup?

Are you trying to make VZW look bad??
Get your facts straight – it is double because the VZW version comes with 16gb and AT&T only has 8gb -
100$ more just for 8gigs of space. Makes so much sense. It actually does make VZW look bad.

Best Buy’s price is a pre-order price and might be lower in order to get people to commit to it now. I would not be surprised to see the price go to 149 as a normal price once it is released. Then you are paying $50 more for the Verizon model with double the storage. Also Verizon might offer a similar price drop for pre-orders. Really what you should take away from this article is: if you are a windows phone fan you have an opportunity to get a flagship device at a great price from Best Buy right now.
