HTC Desire 4G LTE shows up in Verizon’s device management system

It seem we can’t go more than a few days without a new HTC device makes an appearance in Verizon’s device management system. This time around, a leaked image has captured a device dubbed the HTC Desire 4G LTE. Naturally, there is no other information to go on at this point in time, but it’s easy enough to narrow things down.

Since HTC has designated the Desire series as a step down from the One series, we doubt the HTC Desire 4G LTE is a custom device made exclusively for Verizon. Our guess is that Verizon and HTC are prepping a CDMA/LTE variant of the newly announced HTC Desire X which would be considered an entry-level 4G phone in Verizon’s lineup. It would be the perfect device to replace the HTC Rhyme which is currently priced at $50 (available for $0.0.1 on Amazon).

With the rumored HTC 6435LVW phablet and the recently launched DROID Incredible 4G LTE (available for $49.99 on Amazon), the HTC Desire 4G LTE could give Verizon three solid HTC devices at thee distinct price points. We doubt that the HTC Desire 4G LTE would be able to ever satisfy any of your sophisticated needs, but it could be the perfect phone for someone eager to get their hands on a smartphone without having to break the bank.
