HTC EVO 4G LTE Android 4.0.4 update with Sense 4.1 now available

Nearly a week after releasing the Android 4.0.4 update with HTC Sense 4.1 to the HTC One S in Europe, HTC and Sprint have started pushing out the update to the HTC EVO 4G LTE. The main change in this latest update from HTC removed the large menu button which HTC currently places at the bottom of the screen for applications which are not yet optimized for Android 4.0 and remapping it to capacivite multi-tasking button below the screen. Sprint has also included an update to its Visual Voicemail app along with the latest version of Google Wallet.

There’s no telling how long it will take for Sprint to roll out the Android 4.0.4 update to the HTC EVO 4G LTE, but you can always try triggering the update on your own by going to Settings > About Phone > HTC Software Updates > Check. We know most of you were probably hoping for an Android 4.1 update for your HTC EVO 4G LTE, but you’ll just have to wait a little bit longer.
