Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE gains FCC approval

The Sprint bound HTC 4G LTE has made its way through the FCC. The official filing documents do not reveal and new details about the Android 4.0 handset, but they do confirm that it will feature CDMA connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n , Bluetooth and support for Sprint’s new LTE network.

Sprint is still silent about the launch date of the HTC EVO4G LTE, but we expect those details to be revealed once customers are able to pre-order the handset on May 7th. The hardware design of the HTC EVO 4G LTE may not be as appealing as the One X or One S, but we have to admit that the phone feel solid and looks much better in person than it does in pictures (even ours).

We know quite a few Sprint customers will be purchasing the HTC EVO 4G LTE, but are any of you planning on making the jump to Sprint’s new LTE network in order to have the most powerful HTC phone on the market?
